Paraguay

There is not much turistic information about Paraguay in the internet. The majority of it population of 7 milion people live in the south within the triangle of the biggest city of Asuncion, Ciudad del Este and Encarnacion. This is also where we decided to travel to get some feel of Paraguay.

We managed to visit a lot of beautiful places with waterfalls, clean rivers and sandy beaches. Parana river that creates a border of east and south of the country act as a sea for local people and sometimes is so wide that you cannot see the other side.

There are also amazing ruins of Jesuit Missions in the south and many yerba matte factories. Paraguayans say that yerba matte was first grown on their land, well before it was spread to Argentina and Uruguay.

Paraguay is definitely worth a visit!
